FUCECCHIO MARSHES:
A day dedicated to a photographic and naturalistic excursione in the heart of one of the most important wetlands in Italy and Europe. Using the traditional small boats, the only means of transport that allow unprecendented immersion in nature. Traveling along the canals with the traditional small boats, you have the opportunity to get to know a unique and unexpectted natual reality that is difficult to observe elsewhere.
FUNICOLAR OF MONTECATINI TERME:
The funicular connects Montecatini Terme to the ancient medieval village of Montecatini Alto with the oldest original functioning cars in the world “Gigio
and Gigia”. The funicular has unergone various modernization interventios, but the two ancient wagons, for all Gigio and Gigia, have remained unchanged, consisting of three comopartments with wooden benches and two external balconies. During each ride the two wagons meet, almost like to lovers halfway through.
