FUCECCHIO MARSHLAND:
A day dedicated to a photographic and naturalistic excursion in the centre of one of the most important humid zones in Italy and Europe. You will use the traditional boats, the only means of transport that allow for an unprecedented immersion into nature. By crossing the canals with the traditional boat, you will have the opportunity to get to know a unique and unexpected natural environment, which you can hardly observe anywhere else.
MONTECATINI TERME CABLE CAR:
The cable car connects Montecatini Terme with the old medieval village of Montecatini Alto thanks to the oldest working original wagons in the world, “Gigio and Gigia”. The cable car underwent several modernization interventions but the two old wagons, known by everyone as Gigio and Gigia, have remained unchanged: they are made up of three compartments with wooden benches and two external balconies. The two wagons “meet” halfway through, as if they were two lovers, during each ride.
Participation fee upon request
It includes:
• 2 nights in a double room in a hotel (bed and breakfast treatment)
• Boat trip, including: boot rental, socks for boots, chaperon (boatman), snack or aperitif on the way back
• Return cable car ticket (in the opening period)
